“Snappy, come here… you have to see this. Daddy, can you see me?”

Mini-Story
MX-P12 — Myxar Prime

On Myxar Prime, the remnants of a long-forgotten civilization drift silently through space.
Monumental, brutalist structures float there — stripped of their original purpose, yet still heavy with presence and weight.
A place not meant to be explained, but to be felt.

During a brief reconnaissance flight, a father reaches this location with his son.
While the father remains inside the spacecraft, attending to technical conditions and system checks, the boy is allowed to enter the ancient structure.

At his side is Snappy.
A robotic dog, designed and built by the father specifically for his son —
a next-generation super-toy, companion, and quiet guardian.

Driven by boundless curiosity and a sense of adventure, the boy explores the space.
Overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the environment, he finds his own small moment of discovery.

Snappy moves through the structure somewhat clumsily, yet always alert.
He fulfills his entrusted role with quiet dedication, seeking reassurance as he repeatedly looks up at the softly humming eye-watch drone above him —
sent along by the father to keep watch.

Clearly unsure how to interpret the situation, Snappy calls out to his familiar creator in a low, digital tone:

“Daddy… Daddy…”

The boy sits within a beam of light cast by a high window, gazing out toward his father’s ship drifting outside.

“Snappy, come here… you have to see this.
Daddy, can you see me?”

Across the glass of the drone, the father’s reply appears in calm, luminous lettering, accompanied by Snappy’s status indicators.

“Hello, Snappy.
Tell him: Yes. I can see you.”

For a brief moment, three perspectives align:
a space from the distant past,
a child in the present,
and a father creating closeness from afar.

Subtext (unspoken, yet present)

Here, technology does not replace closeness — it carries it.
Snappy is toy, translator, guardian, and connection at once.
A reflection of a time in which care is often mediated digitally —
and yet remains real.
